Steelers plan to release Foote...

In an economic move the Pittsburgh Steelers plan to release starting linebacker Larry Foote. The Steelers apparently tried to trade him during the draft but either the price was to high or nobody was willing to give anything up. Foote played in every game for the last six seasons at middle linebacker, including starts in both Super Bowls. The Steelers are putting a lot of stock in the third year Lawrence Timmons, who in my opinion hasn't shown enough to be the starter but the Steelers are usually right about these things. It is sad to see him go but I would rather see him play elsewhere than sit the bench. Good luck to Larry Foote you will be missed as a Steelers!

GO STEELERS!
