Game 7 over the Chicago Bulls. Ben Gordon finished with 33 points including a weird scoring error when he was credited with a two pointer after clearly making a three point basket in the second quarter. Then in fourth quarter the referees finally credited Gordon with a three cutting the Celtics lead to three. But it was too little too late because Boston made their last 11 free throws in the last two minutes to advance to the next round. Derrick Rose never found his magic from Game 1 where he scored 36 points, he had a solid series the only thing he really needs to work on is his ball control. Rose turned the ball over way too much and he needs to make better decisions when trying to feed the post. Joakim Noah turned in another solid performance with a game high 15 rebounds and seven points. The Chicago Bulls can hold their heads high after taking the defending NBA Champions to seven games and hopefully they can use it as a learning experience. The only problem really facing this team in the off-season, which happens to be the same problem over the last few years, is whether they can resign Ben Gordon to a long term deal. I really hope they can get it done but it looks like Gordon improved his free agency status after nailing clutch shot after clutch shot in the playoffs. If the Bulls can resign Gordon and find someone who will trade with them for Kirk Hinrich the Bulls should be poised to return to the post-season once again.
