R.I.P. Wayman Tisdale....

I started doing a morning jazz show about 5 months ago, and while I was a little skeptic about how it was going to go I'm definitely glad I chose to do the show. I got the oppurtunity to listen to Wayman Tisdale's music and it was awesome. He is one of my favorite smooth jazz artists and it is sad knowing he won't be making music anymore. Tisdale died of cancer today at the young age of 44. I originally knew about Wayman as a basketball player because he was in the NBA around the time I started watching and he was the epitome of a self less team player and he had a smooth stroke. Tisdale graduated from Oklahoma as the all-time leading scorer and rebounder and as a 3 time all american and was also a gold medalist on the 1984 Olympics basketball team.
