Yes Michael Vick should be allowed in NFL again...
Michael Vick has paid his debt to society(or will in about two months) and he should be allowed to play in the NFL again, just not this year. Vick so far on paper has done all the right things like not getting into trouble while in prison and he has recently reached out to the National Humane Society to work with them to prevent dog fighting. If Vick was smart he would sit this year out and use the extra time to reconnect with his family and also rework his image. With the year off Vick could re establish himself in the community by reaching out to the youth and publicly work with the humane society and other organizations to help with animal abuse. The PR nightmare that would ensue if he were to come back this year would be lessened by the fact that he had the year off and was rehabbing his image putting forth the right words and efforts and would make him more enticing to teams because some of the wounds will hopefully have healed. The other and less important reason Vick should take a year off is because he will be getting out in July and will not have much time to get back into football shape and he would be behind the 8ball on learning his new offense. I'm sure Vick worked out while in prison but that does not compare to competing against other people and facing live competition. When Vick is let back into the league there will be a small market for him for a couple of reasons.... the first being do you trust him enough to run your team. Sure Vick was a winner when he was healthy, but that was because he was able to be Michael Vick and let him make plays, it wasn't always pretty but he won. So who is going to give that kind of freedom to a guy who was locked up for the last 2 and a half years. So if you don't want him at QB then where do you put him wr, or rb, that is the big question. He would fit perfectly into the "wildcat formation" but very few teams would want to deal with that kind of publicity.... but there is one team who is looking for any kind of publicity especially the kind that lets people forget about an 0-16 season....
