Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals...

Tonight is Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Detroit Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Penguins. The first four games of this series went exactly how the Penguins wanted it to go, well of course they wanted to steal one in Detroit but they played good enough to win those first two games, losing both 3-1. Chris Osgood dominated Games 1 and 2 he single handedly shut down the Penguins powerful offense. When the series moved to Pittsburgh the Pens stole the momentum and Marc-Andre Fleury played out of his mind and was a big reason the series was tied at two, winning both games 4-2. In Game 5 the Wings got a much needed boost from Pavel Datsyuk returning from injury and he made an immediate impact drilling Evgeni Malkin to the ice and assisting on the first goal of the game. The Penguins then self imploded and played the worst any team could play in the Cup Finals and they only lost 5-0, it should have been a lot worse but it wasn't. The Penguins should be able to regroup at home and send this series back to Detroit for a Game 7, but if the they act like they did in Game 5 I don't want to see them play again. Hopefully Pittsburgh will keep their heads, be patient, and keep playing their style of game and good things should happen for them.

RED WINGS LEAD SERIES 3-2 OVER PENGUINS

GO PENGUINS!
