Mark Buehrle tosses 2nd career perfect game against the Rays...

I don't like baseball but this is pretty impressive and it needs mentioning , I mean come on how often does a guy pitch a perfect game, I think the last time it happened was 5 years ago(Randy Johnson was the last in 2004 for the Arizona Diamondbacks) and only 18 times has a guy thrown for perfection. Chicago White Sox ace Mark Buehrle pitched his second career perfect game yesterday while knocking off the Tampa Bay Rays 5-0. Buehrle threw 116 pitches with 76 of them being for strikes which lead to him striking out six batters. This was a clutch performance at its best because the Rays are very good young team, the win moved the Sox within percentage points of the Tigers for the lead in the AL Central(with a series between the two this weekend), and their were some late game heroics to preserve the perfect game. It was in the top of the ninth when manager Ozzie Guillen decided to put DeWayne Wise in at center field for more defense and the move would turn out to be great as a leaping Wise robbed Gabe Kaplar of a lead off home run, he even bobbled it which also added to the dramatics before he ultimately secured the ball for the out. Buerhle would go on to strike out the next batter and forced the final hitter to ground out. Josh Fields hit a grand slam in the second inning and Alexi Ramirez scored Scott Posednik in the fifth while helping Mark Buehrle improve his overall record to 11-3. Buehrle even got a call from President Obama after the game congratulating him on his perfect game.
