Steelers re-sign Heath Miller for 6-years...
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Heath Miller agreed to a 6-year contract extension yesterday. This is a great move by the Steelers because Heath is a proven winner(2 Super Bowls in 4 years) and he is vital to the success of their offense. Miller is probably the best blocking tight end in the league and is a viable threat in the passing game but due to the inconsistencies on the offensive line Miller has had to stay in and block more often then Big Ben or Mike Tomlin would like. Over his four year career Miller has accumulated 1,932 yards and 21 touchdowns off of 168 receptions. The new contract for Miller will keep him with the Steelers through the 2014 season.
