MLB Playoff recap...

The Colorado Rockies evened things up in their first round playoff series against the Philadelphia Phillies 5-4. The Rockies took it to Cole Hamels early scoring three runs in the first five innings before he left to be with his pregnant wife. Yorvit Torrealba hit a two-run homer in the fourth and Huston Street recorded his first save of the postseason.
Best of 5 series tied at 1-1

The Los Angeles Dodgers took a commanding 2-0 series lead over the St. Louis Cardinals with a 3-2 win. Matt Holliday had a chance to seal the game for the Cards with two outs in the bottom of the ninth and all he had to do was catch a sinking line drive but instead he missed the catch and gave the Dodgers new life. The Dodgers went on to win on a pinch hit single by Mark Loretta that drove in Casey Blake to give L.A. the go ahead score.

The Los Angeles Angels continued the Bay area dominance with 5-0 win over the Boston Red Sox. The Angels jumped over Jon Lester including Torii Hunter who hit 3-run home run in the fifth inning giving the Angels the first runs of the game and which would turn out to be the game winner.
