When has the Super Bowl ever been about the fans?...
I have no problem with the NFL trying to play an additional game over in England. I thinks its good exposure for the game because it lets the people of England know that not all of our athletes are immature little babies. I'm glad to that the NFL is sending over good representatives of league in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New England Patriots, these two teams over the last few years have been competitive teams with very few off the field problems. The bad part is that whoever plays loses a home game, which screws the fans, and the teams don't get much of a bye week because they have to travel back home and get ready for their next opponent. I do have a problem with Commissioner Goodell trying to put the Super Bowl over there though. Let's face it the Super Bowl has never been about the fans other than we get to watch it, but the real reason for the Super Bowl is to appease the advertisers, and by moving the SB to England would further prove that point. Since Goodell has taken over he has done everything possible to make as much money as possible even if it hurts the fans or the overall quality of the league. There's nothing wrong with trying to make money but when you start to ruin the overall quality of the game it's time to stop.
