Tiger criticizes the PGA but won't be fined...

After winning the Bridgestone Invitational Tiger Woods criticized a PGA tour official for putting both Woods and Padraig Harrington on the clock on the 16th hole which led to Harrington forcing bad shots and ultimately losing the tournament. The PGA tour official was notified that the two golfers were 16 minutes behind schedule and he then timed the golfers and made them go quicker then they were used to. I have a problem with this because if it was a Major tournament nothing would have been said and Woods and Harrington would have been able to slug it out and then no one could complain about being forced into making bad shots. These were the last two golfers on the course and they were competing to win, so who cares if it runs over on t.v., it would have probably drawn big ratings with Tiger coming from behind for the second straight week and they could have gone on to a playoff, who knows then what would happen. The other problem I have with this situation is that the PGA let Tiger get away with publicly bashing an official who was just enforcing the rules, when this happens in any other sport the commissioner would not hesitate to fine the person(no matter who they are) for undermining the integrity of the game. Now Tiger knows he can say what he wants and he won't face repercussions for his actions. And what if it was any one else who would have made those comments would they have been fined, you better believe it. I know Tiger is the only draw for the PGA but they can't have a double standard for Woods and everyone else, if you criticize an official in any sport you should be reprimanded in some way for your actions. Oh well the I guess the PGA doesn't want to upset its biggest star.
