Brett Favre to stay retired...
In a weird twist to the Brett Favre saga he has announced he will stay retired. And just let me thank god! He should have never played in New York last year and he definitely should not play in Minnesota this year, he is ruining his legacy with his antics over the last few years. He only wanted to stick it to the Packers GM for letting him go but it was Brett's fault for retiring and then deciding with a few weeks to go before training camp that he wanted to come back, well to bad Brett. The funny thing about this now is that the QBs who remain with Minnesota will have to face questions from the media about the team not trusting them or thinking they are good enough to lead the team. I don't know what kind of men Tavaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels are but I'd be pretty upset with the coaching staff and I would use it as motivation to lead the team and then demand more money from the them after the season or just sign elsewhere. If Brett had come back this year he would have set the team back a few years just like he did with the Jets because he would have hampered the progress of Jackson if he didn't lead them to a Super Bowl he would have probably come back again and further hindered the future of the franchise because they still wouldn't have a franchise QB. Of course Brett still has a few days to change his mind but I hope he sticks with this decision.
