Celtics spoil Shaq and Cavs home debut....

The Boston Celtics ruined what was supposed to be a big night for the city of Cleveland and their Cavaliers with the debut of Shaquille O'Neal as the Cavs lost their season and home opener 95-89. The Celtics Big 3 out shined the reigning MVP Lebron James and his new sidekick combining for 52 points and 23 rebounds compared to 48 points and 14 rebounds. Boston's new addition of Rasheed Wallace also paid dividends scoring 12 points off the bench with the Celtics bench out scoring Cleveland's 26-10. Paul Pierce finished with a team high 23 points and 11 rebounds, Ray Allen ended up with 16 points and Kevin Garnett contributed a double-double with 13 points and 10 boards in his first game since hurting his knee in March. James lead all scorers 38 points to go along with 8 assists and 4 rebounds. The Big Lazy aka Shaq had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Cavs fans shouldn't be too worried because there are a lot of new faces that are trying to get used to each other so it may take a few weeks for them to get acclimated to each other. This team may start out slow but they will pick it up and they will win the Central and be a top-3 seed in the Eastern Conference, probably behind the C's and Magic.
