The Philadelphia Phillies took the best shot the Colorado Rockies had but it wasn't enough as the defending World Series champions won in the Rocky Mountain state 5-4. The Phillies were down two runs in the top of the ninth but the defending champs didn't flinch and Ryan Howard would knock in the game tying runs on a double with two outs. Howard would be knocked in on the very next batter to give Philadelphia a 5-4 lead and the Brad Lidge picked up his second consecutive save. The Phillies will play the Dodgers in the NLCS starting on Thursday.
Phillies win best of 5 series 3-1
