Yankees and Angels sweep, Phils win....

The New York Yankees and all their high priced free agents may actually be starting to pay off as the Yankees swept the tired Minnesota Twins 4-1 in the last game ever played at the Metrodome. Alex Rodriguez homered in the seventh to tie the game up at 1 and Jorge Posada took the lead with a homer in the same inning and New York never looked back. Andy Pettite picked up the win and the Yankees are heading back to the ALCS for the first time in 5 years.
Yankees swept series 3-0

The Los Angeles Angels took care of the Boston Red Sox sweeping them with a Game 3 victory of 7-6. The Angels scored three runs in the ninth off of closer Johnathan Papelbon and they got revenge over the Sox who have knocked them out of the playoffs 4 straight seasons. Vladimir Guerrero hit a single to drive in the tying and go ahead run and now the Angels will take on the Yankees in the ALCS.
Angels sweep series 3-0

After postponing the game twice due to it being too cold(they realize that October baseball in any of the cities left except for L.A. will have cold weather right?) the pansies known as the Philadelphia Phillies knocked off the other pansies the Colorado Rockies 6-5. Chase Utley, went 3-4 with a home run, lead the defending champs and Ryan Howard hit in the game winning run in in the top of the ninth then Brad Lidge held off the Rockies to extend their series lead. Game 4 is tonight back in Colorado.
